CSA-Community Supported Agriculture
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture and is a marketing approach which allows a farm and a community to develop a relationship.  CSA is a national movement that is connecting people with fresh, local, and often organically grown produce.  It is about more than produce, however.  CSA members have a chance to participate in the production of their food at De La Tierra Gardens and are also invited to farm celebrations and field days.  We use organic growing methods and are a Certified Naturally Grown farm, but we rely more on the face-to-face relationships to ensure transparency.  Come out, take a tour and get to know us.  Join a CSA and you will be eating the healthiest food available for you and for the environment, building your local economy, and fostering community.  To find other CSAs in your area, check out www.localharvest.org and search for your locale.

De La Tierra Gardens 2010 CSA
We will be offering Vegetable and Flower Shares this season, please click here for detailed information.  To sign up, download the application form and mail it to us along with your payment.  Shares will run for 18 weeks, starting May 25th.  CSA is now full!

Egg Share from Wee Bigger Farm available through De La Tierra
We will again offer Egg Shares through Wee Bigger Farm.  Receive one or two dozen pasture raised, hormone and antibiotic free, free range eggs every other week.  Shares run in conjunction with the Vegetable Shares for 18 weeks, May 25th through September 23rd.  Pick up schedule is the same as the Vegetable Shares but on an every other week basis starting May 25th.  Click here for the application.

Meat Share from Sattva Place available through De La Tierra
We will again offer Meat Shares from Certified Organic Sattva Place.  Choose Beef, Chicken, Pork and Thanksgiving Turkey in varying quantities.  Click for more info and application.  Shares run in conjunction with the Vegetable Shares for 18 weeks, May 25th through September 23rd.  Pick up schedule is the same as the Vegetable Shares.

Trickling Springs Dairy Products
We are the only place in Carroll County that carries local, natural or organic glass bottled milk and other all natural dairy products from Trickling Springs Creamery.   We currently take orders on an individual basis for all Trickling Springs Products except for ice cream.  Give us a call or email to start picking up delicious glass bottled milk and other dairy products in Taneytown today.
